Lon Gne Dixon (Gne "Genie") , LPC-A, provides compassionate, evidence-based therapy for individuals, couples, and families, drawing on a deep understanding of the complexities of mental health. At Sage Psychiatric Care, he specializes in working with issues related to relationships, grief and loss, PTSD, anxiety, and depression—areas that resonate with both his professional training and personal journey.

His eight years of service in the U.S. Army offered him a firsthand perspective on trauma and its lasting impact. That experience inspired Gne to transition into the field of mental health, where he worked in a specialized hospital supporting individuals with severe behavioral and psychological health challenges.

His personal path has also shaped his approach to therapy. After experiencing homelessness at the age of sixteen, he developed a deep empathy for those navigating adversity. This journey has given him a profound appreciation for resilience and the human capacity for growth. Gne is passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to heal.
